PLEASE SIGN UP FOR CLUB NEW LIFE!! 1/1 SHOW: Mom w/ prodigal daughter, LAST person adult kid can hear advice/rebuke from is parent, God made us to rebel & turn away from parents, to become independent. Daughter likely wants bad boys because didn’t get appropriate affection, approval, love from dad, girls who don’t look for it & find corrupt “affection” [sex] w/ bad boys, dads need to head this off by being connected loving affectionate dad from start.This mom + dad sound very punitive, not approving or connecting./ 1/1 SHOW: Last caller this is what happens when divorce + remarry despite Jesus’ telling us not to Mt19:9, caller has problems w/ sexual immorality, he should have stayed married to 1st wife, once he div. he should have stayed single + celibate, can’t ignore Jesus’ wise counsel & expect happiness. /

PLEASE SIGN UP FOR CLUB NEW LIFE!! 1/4 SHOW: Dave at least admits he’s sexist, he said “Women are responders, if guy does right thing women respond, women only w/draw if men won’t do right thing”. Also true for many husbs, & NOT true for many women, just like in Bible, Gomer, Jezebel, etc. Not surprising since Dave is so old that would have sexist view, but at least today wives commit same sins husbs do. Dave’s attitude has made some husbs whose wives left/div. them bitter about NL, like when he says men have affairs cause are stupid but wives’ affairs send message, wives’ affairs are justified

Wow! I listened to the show on the internet for the first time – in my kitchen – and it sounded like you were right there! I’m totally addicted to your show. I called in when Paul Meier was there. I got some great advice from Jill about my 14 year old son – who’s now 24! And, also a prodigal that (thanks to you all!) I’m loving & not judging. I hung out with him & his girlfriend over the holidays & it was a great bonding time. (Although I was not happy to hear he partied his way through college. He didn’t get into any trouble – at least not that I heard of!)
